Lt. Ronnie Graddy of Sylvester Police Investigations said today that wanted subject Bobby Drayton, Jr. is currently in the police custody. See details below:
Sylvester Police sought the public’s assitance in locating an armed robbery suspect who had more recently been identified as the gunman in the August 30th shooting of Arthur Hill at a Cotton Street residence. Lt. Graddy said SPD received information regarding a residence location Drayton was believed to be hiding. SPD acted on the tip and found Drayton in a closet of the Sylvester residence Monday afternoon.
Graddy gave a great deal of credit to the officers involved, as well as the public’s assistance, in Drayton’s capture. “I’m just glad we got him off the streets,” Graddy said.
As of Tuesday, Drayton remains in the Worth County Jail.
