Mathew D. Walker, 21, and Michael Roberts, 21, of Red Rock Road in Sylvester was each charged this week with several counts of theft by taking and criminal interference with government property. According to Deputy T.J. Farmer who led the investigation, the subjects are charged with stealing batteries/parts out of county machinery including motor graders and a front end loader. The two were caught attempting to steal a lawn mower recently when they were caught.

Walker is currently charged with 4-counts of theft by taking and 2-counts criminal interference of government property.

Leon Michael Brown, 42, Albany, Ga., was charged with Driving on a Suspended Registration and No Insurance on July 8^th.

Dontavis Tarall Grace, 29, Albany, Ga., was charged with Driving While License Suspended 2^nd Offense and Taillight Requirements on July 9^th.  He was arrested.

Lee Ernest Alford, 51, Warwick, Ga., was charged with Affray, Battery, Disorderly Conduct, Obstructing Law Enforcement Officers, Refusal to Disperse, Simple Assault, and Criminal Trespass on July 13^th.  He was released on bond.

Mareo Tnell Thomas, 29, Warwick, Ga., was charged with Driving While License Revoked, Fleeing, Safety Belt Violation, and Obstructing Law Enforcement Officers on July 17^th.  He is still at large.

William Howard Woodyard, 25, Cordele, Ga., was charged with Illegal Possession of A Controlled Substance and Improper Backing on July 21^st.

William Smith Jr., 61, Cordele, Ga., was charged with Driving While License Revoked and Failure to Maintain Lane on July 17^th.  He was released on bond.

Jose Miguel Freundt, 35, Tallahassee, Fl., was charged with Driving While License Revoked and Speeding on July 18^th.

 Anderson F.  Delpino.  26, Providence, R.I., was charged with Driving While License  Revoked, Speeding, and Expired License Plate on July 19^th.  He is currently in jail.

Doris Dean Williams, 50, Warwick, Ga., was charged with Affray on July 20^th.

Tashia Yahaca Floyd, 29, Warwick, Ga., was charged with Affray on July 20^th.

POULAN POLICE DEPARTMENT

During the Road Block/ Traffic Stops held in Poulan Friday, July 23, that involved a joint effort between law enforcement agencies in surrounding counties, Poulan Officer Donnie Scott reports 48 citations were served. Although a few were charged with open containers and tested for D.U.I., no one was charged with driving under the influence during the road block that lasted over four hours.

13 –arrests were made with charges involving driving without a license, driving under suspended license, and no insurance. Two subjects were arrested for possession of marijuana, less than an ounce.
